New Lyric: But I Have To (I Have To)

I would have sailed the world for you
I would have given it all to you
I would have been there to care for you
Now it ended soon, all ended soon

You were just a dream I couldn't achieve
And now I must go on and be set free
Be set free, be set free

You've been in my head so long
It's going to be hard to move on from you
But I have to, I have to

I do want to hurt anymore
You are much happier than before
You won't need me anymore
He's the one for you, He's the one for you

You were just a dream I couldn't achieve
And now I must go on and be set free
Be set free, be set free

You've been in my head so long
It's going to be hard to move on from you
But I have to, I have to

It's going to be a long and winding road
The shape of my heart is returning to form
I can't walk after you no more
Face it, I lost you
Before I had you, I lost you

You were just a dream I couldn't achieve
And now I must go on and be set free
Be set free, be set free

You've been in my head so long
It's going to be hard to move on from you
But I have to, I have to

You've been stuck in my head so long
It's going to be so hard to go and move on
But I have to, I need to let go of you

But I have to, I have to
But I have to, I have to
But I have to, I have to

(One of my favorite songs I have written)

Holy smokes...it's a blog: College and Lyrics

Well, I'm back on the blogging front and I will attempt it. Well, I announced my plans for the future but I have more. I'm applying for colleges already which may be hard, but it might be rewarding in the end. I have to study lines for an upcoming play and I finally got back on track with my school work.
Anyway, one thing I would like to take some time to discuss is how I write my lyrics. Mostly I write from personal experiences such as a break-up, a past situation, or something along these lines. Then, I think of a genre to put the lyrics to, which can range from pop to rock to any other one you can think of. After, I write my ass off to make it the best I can. it may take five minutes to up to three days for me to write one of my lyrics (The Ballad of Love and Lost was three days and a half of work). Finally, I share my work with friends, students, and fans.
There you have it. A blog. Next time, I might talk about something random so be on the outlook.
