The Return of a Classic: Try To Fly Again (Blinking Lights)

This was a song I posted a long time ago on the old MySpace blog. Since then, it has been restructured, re-imagine, and torn apart to become what it is. This is the finally official version of this song. I now present to you my favorite song in the way it was meant to be.

'Try To Fly Again (Blinking Lights)'

Time to stop
Time to breathe
It's so unreal
To see you crying

Sometimes I think
In the thick of it
I just didn't care enough
To deal with it
In the end will you still be here
Or leave me as the dividend?

The blinking lights
Pass for you
My mind wanders by and by
Thoughts of you
Who knew I try to fly again?
Who knew?

Stuck in a whirlwind
Is all I am
Sorry for giving up there
Better yet
I calmed down and raised my hopes
To see it though
I can't hold on anymore to you

The blinking lights
Pass for you
My mind wanders by and by
Thoughts of you
Who knew I try to fly again?
Who knew?

I would be failing at this lesson
I should have learned about it sooner
But I ignored the situation all along
And I can't seem to feel strong
I'm losing hope and losing you
Why did I ever think this through

Time to stop
Time to breathe
It's so unreal
To see you crying

The blinking lights
Pass for you
My mind wanders by and by
Thoughts of you
Who knew I try to fly again, again
These dimming lights
Fade for you
My mind wandered on and off
I've lost you
I knew I tried to fly again
Who knew?
Who knew?
Who knew?
Who knew?

These dimming lights
Fade for you
